picnic on the porch.


I took a nap on the porch today. That's right. It was below 100 degrees! Around 88 actually, with just a hint of a breeze. Perfect. weather. And since it was so nice, we had a picnic on the porch for lunch.


Mom made delicious pasta and garlic bread. The pasta = noodles + chicken + sante fe philadelphia cooking cream. Yum. I won't tell you how much I ate ;)


This is my all time f.a.v.o.r.i.t.e. quilt. My Grandma made it a long time ago. I'm pretty sure it's been around longer than I have. You can curl up on your bed with it, or spread it out for a picnic. Versatile I'm tellin' ya.


And for dessert, Chocolate Carmel Commotion ice cream. Ok, it's no secret that I love ice cream with a passion. Even more...chocolate ice cream. And you then add carmel? Ya. It's too good to be true.

    I took a nap to but not outside, too hot! That sounds so yummy <3 I love your moms cooking amazing!! And now I want some Ice Cream lol!

    First of all, great header!! What great use of that front porch!! That is what porches were made for!! And the pasta - makes my mouth water!!!! It's amazing how comfortable 88 is after all this 100+ weather we have had! Glad that you are enjoying it! Love you!
